Small Truck
Ideal for a 1 bedroom flat move, the smallest of our trucks is 10m³ average 3.16m long, 1.94 high, 1.70 wide and is available in most locations. It is simple to drive and no special license required to hire.
Medium Truck
Suitable for a 2 bedroom flat/house move, our medium sized trucks are 15m³ average 4.2m long, 2.0m high, 1.8m wide and is available in most locations. It is simple to drive and no special license required to hire.
Large Truck
The largest of our trucks is 18m³ average 4.36m long, 1.95m high, 2.07m wide and is available in most locations. It is simple to drive and no special license required to hire. It is ideal for bigger jobs and will accommodate an average 2-3 bedroom home.
Small Cargo Van
Our average van will accommodate a double bed and is 2.8m long, 1.3m high, 1.5m wide.
Medium Cargo Van
Our Medium Cargo Van will accommodate a queen/king bed. The average Medium Cargo Van is 2.8m long, 1.5m high, 1.5m wide.
Ute
Utility vehicles ideal for general haulage, garden waste disposal, and building materials, gravel or compost. Utes have a large flat tray (some with tipping capability). Average deck size 1.8m x 2.2m.
Minibus
Minibuses are ideal for groups, schools, sports clubs, teams. They are great for moving a number of people and are just like driving a car. No special licence is required. Only available at some locations.

Handy Rentals has been operating in Dunedin since 1994, commencing with one Hilux ute.
Due to rapid growth a standalone location was found to accomodate the fleet of trucks,minibus's vans and trailers.
Owners Laurie and Suzanne Hart along with their team Michelle Blankestyn and Aron Fraser, take pride in offering friendly personal service to their customers.
